Fitness Chart

Here is my chart that helps keep me motivated! This actually was taken a few weeks ago and I now only have 10lbs to my goal weight and 8lbs to my pre-pregnancy weight. $70 shorts you will fit me again soon!

Sienna Update

Sienna laughs quite frequently now; she grabs her feet and folds herself in half; she rolls from her tummy to her back; she has a really long attention span for books; she still chews on everything; she can hold herself up in standing position; she grabs things with her hands and feet; and she sucks her long fingers (usually the pointer and the middle finger, causing herself to gag). We love her so much and she has done really well with the move. Our ward is so amazing and helpful and I will miss them so much. I hope to be better in helping others.

Happy Father's Day

I am so grateful for such a wonderful father, and an amazing husband. It is so fun to see Sean be the great dad I knew he would be. He takes such good care of both of us and not a day goes by that he hasn't expressed his love for me in word or deed. I am so grateful for the priesthood in my home, and the peace it brings.

For father's day we didn't really do anything big, but I did make dinner and we went to church together of course.

Babbling

Sienna has taking to pausing while nursing to look up at me and smile and say a few words. It is really cute but makes it hard to get her to eat. I really wish I could record it because it is so adorable and because she even said hi back at me. It was only the H sound but I know she was trying to say hi. We took her on a walk a few nights ago and she heard a plane going overhead she pushed up with her legs and looked up and darted her head back and forth trying to find it. Unfortunately she never did because it was behind the trees. She loves watching cars go by at night during our walks and stops screaming to watch. It is so fun to watch her hit and grab things on purpose.

Summer

It is so much fun having Sean home from school. He helps out so much and during the summer I don't have to feel bad about it. We have been really busy reorganizing the house so it is more baby friendly, even though we are applying for subsidized housing and might move at the beginning of August. A couple of days ago Sienna transformed into a happy baby who sleeps a ton, but instead of enjoying this new development Sean and I were worried it just wasn't like her. Luckily/ Unluckily she seems back to herself. She is still happier than usual and I attribute it to her getting twice the amount of attention she is use to. We love being parents.

I have entered a six-week fitness and nutrition contest to help me accomplish my post pregnant weight loss goal of 22 lbs. It will be difficult since it is during all our trips, but hopefully with determination, Sean's support (he will be joining me), and some careful planning I will be able to accomplish my goal.

Blessing Day

I debated for a long time over where to do her blessing. I really wanted family to be there, but I also felt like it should be done here in our ward so when Patrick and Maren came I saw an opportunity for us to do both. The window was short because they were only here for a week. I wish I had been able to tell people but my tonsils were swollen which made speaking incredibly painful. Sienna's blessing was beautiful and simple and spoke mostly of the good character of our beautiful little girl. I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband who holds the priesthood and is worthy to speak in God's name. He is a wonderful dad and an even better husband. We are truly blessed this little one chose us. After the blessing we had a delicious dinner at Maren's Mom's house, and Patrick took these beautiful photos in the yard. Both Patrick and Sean really got into it. Patrick and Maren went to a lot of trouble trying to get these pictures to transfer from the camera to the computer, and I am so grateful that they went to the trouble.
