Day 8: Michigan Friends

This beautiful woman has brought me joy and comfort in our journey of motherhood and I love her. The girls really did have fun, they were just so tired at the end.

Day 7: Church in Our Clarkston Ward

It was so fun going to church in our old ward and seeing a bunch of people we love. Talking to Sister Cornell, Lucy, Hillary, Rachel Boling, Lora, The Sommers, and so many others. It was also great talking about the apostle Paul and his experiences as a missionary.

Day 6: A Much Needed Break and friendship park

We were all so worn out. The kids were all having meltdowns and we just needed to sleep in, leave at check-out time. Normally I would consider an hour drive long, but today I was just grateful it was so short. This was one of our favorite parks when we lived here. It was amazing to be out at noon and not feel the sun burning through our skin, we just went in the shade when it got a little hot and the kids played the whole time. I have even more respect for my ancestors who left places like this to go to Utah. They and their devotion to the Savior are what made Utah beautiful.

Day 5: Bronner's Christmas Wonderland

We went here for our vacation our first year in Michigan and loved it, so we decided to visit again. It is a beautiful place full of Mini Christmas villages, Sienna's favorite is the mini Halloween Village, and they have a new Harry Potter Village as well. It was a lot of fun.

Day 4: Early Birthday Celebration in Michigan

Ever since we left Michigan Gabriel has been begging to go back to one place, Legoland. I am so grateful we were passing by Michigan and we're able to stop and celebrate his birthday. I am also grateful my parents and grandparents gave him birthday cash and we got buy one get one tickets to pay for it. Thank you everyone who made this possible. He was so so happy. Also, even freeways are beautiful in Michigan, the middle is full of grass and flowers. Total driving time 2 hrs 50 minutes.

After Legoland we told him he could pick where to eat. Gabriel picked Olive Garden.

Also, here are the pictures of him getting some money for his ticket and airheads from grandma and grandpa before we left Utah.
