4 months

This girl is four months and 13lbs of cuteness. She got two immunizations and one oral immunization. I feel like she remembered it because she was super happy until the doctor walked in, and she gave the cutest pouty lip and then she gave me grunpy looks the next hour.

Gabriel lost his fourth tooth today too! Go Gabriel, I love how he works at it until it's out.

Our ducklings are doing well. They each get a morning sink swim, but only Noctis really dives and swims and splashes. I tried giving them each a different color zip tie so we could keep track of who was who, but they all ended up attacking each other, especially the duck with the yellow zip tie. So I had to take them off. I am starting to notice some distinct personality in some of them. I call the smallest one pipin.

The duck house is coming along well, but Sean is really not feeling well so it's been tricky.

Ducklings

We ordered Khaki Campbell ducklings and it said they would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. Luckily in my excitement I bought everything for the first two weeks and had it ready because our ducklings came early! We ordered them April 5th and they came today on April 14th less than 2 weeks later. I have learned so much already.

1st- they soaked the wood chips in a very short time and were too cold and it smelled awful. This special metal thing a youtuber suggested I buy to prevent that did not work.

I also bought this feeder's top based on a tractor supply store employee...it works but you have to be careful because it does fit together quite right.
Our ducklings are adorable, but I am worries they got a little too much love today as they are little scared of us now.

We moved them to the bathtub so the water could drain, and I am using puppy training pads on the other side for poop. It is working so much better and the smell is so much better too.

We gave them each a little swim in the sink. All but 2 seemed to hate it and one seemed so traumatized it tried to rip out its feathers. I dried it off some with a towel and it has seemed okay since.  (After watching the other ducklings this seems a standard way of drying their feathers, that little duck just got too wet to dry itself.)

It was so exciting getting them early, but now we really have to work hard to finish thier house...so sore from digging, and Sean has to take a break from green house building to help with the duck house...so we have to harden off the plants because we may need to plant before we can finish the green house.

Sprouts

Our starters are doing great. I may be over watering as we are also growing some unintended mushrooms.

Lucy can now sit in her boppy and join us for dinner. She has had wheat cereal, bananas, and apple sauce so far.

Sienna giving Gabriel a salon treatment.
Sean working on the foundation for the green house.
I love the back of our house and this cute face
My teeth are so white after the dentist!
Sienna's teeth looking clean too

Trying out fries in the air fryer, they were delicious.

A name and a blessing

Today was the day we gave Lucy her baby blessing and her name was added to the records of the church. She was blessed to have a loving, warm, and nurturing home, and with siblings who would set a good example for her. It also spoke of her recieving her temple ordinances. I was also able to bear my testimony of the miracle of her breathing again after birth. I am so grateful for God's priesthood power and Christ's atonement. I feel so blessed to be given the calling of mother, especially to my 4 wonderful children.
Also, I made this dress

The other kids all looked so nice today. Sienna held Lucy all alone for a short time at church today, and the kids sat quietly while I bore my testimony even though Sean was outside with the baby. It was amazing. I love my kiddos so much.

Waiting to go in

The kids did so amazing that afterwards we picked up stuff for the ducklings we ordered, picked up donuts, dropped a donut off for daddy at work, went to the beach and came home for a bubble bath.

I couldn't see because it was too bright but I had to post some pictures of Lucy at the beach for the first time. The first one reminds me of the baby oysters in Alice in Wonderland.
