Hawk Moth Caterpillar

At first I thought this cool looking guy could sting but upon further investigation it is a harmless red horn. The kids loved when I told them this was a hawk moth caterpillar because the villian in The Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir is called Hawk Moth. What is with kids shows and using moths as villian side-kicks. Oh well, fun harmless little guy. 

Sienna also picked up some mating Grasshoppers. Oops.

Bridget is really warming up compared to her initial reactions, but she does not like to hold them for long.

Which is why we made the caterpillar a house. It was hilarious watching her scream as it climbed out, "Mommy! It's getting out, it's getting ooowwwwt!"

 We found a Luna Moth caterpillar....they were a bit nervous at first. They were excited by the name because in PJ Masks there is a villian named Luna with moth minions.

I splurged and bought the girls their own brush and Gabriel a comb for their hair in the morning and a perfect bun kit for me. 

 This is our get ready station for school mornings. I usually line up the shoes below.
