Laundry Day A-gain

Today it was just me and Bridget for laundry day. Which was a lot of fun and a little tiring. We did photo shoots, a trip to the bank for change and a lollipop, and rides. She was very helpful and cute the whole time. Part way through a man came and gave me some money. He said that Jesus loved me, was aware of me, and had a plan for me. I wish I had thought of something other than thank you. I  so grateful he was there and that he had the courage to say that to a stranger he had never met. The thing that really got me though was last night I was telling Sean that everyone calls me ma'm now and I hate it and really wish people just stuck with Miss. This man...he called me miss. It's been at least 6 years since someone has. It's the little things that help you know that God really is aware of you. I hope I can help someone in this way soon.

I was singing a little tune for my friend Lucy. I wanted to honor her positivity when rembering her. Mine was simple.

Thanks for the joy you bring, it makes my heart want sing, thank you for everything.

This Sunday I found a hymn that really embodies how I feel about Lucy and many other friends. It's called Each Life That Touches Ours For Good.

What greater gift dost thou bestow,
What greater goodness can we know
Than Christlike friends, whose gentle ways
Strengthen our faith, enrich our days.

A visit

Sean drives us past our soon to be home after church on Sundays. It cheers me up so much.

After we got back to the airbnb we went for a walk and built a snowman and snow fort.

Winters call for play dough pies!

I am feeling mean for using the flash so often on the kids...so bright.

Laundry Day

Our new airbnb has no washer or dryer, so I took a girls day to do laundry. Here is some pics from week 1 (two weeks ago).

Church shoes

6 long months and I finally got to buy the kids new church shoes! Thankfully our wards have been very non-judgmental but I am so excited to show my Heavenly Father respect by wearing nice shoes to church.

Bridget refused to wear anything and it was bedtime...so here are her way too grown up looking feet.
And her cute messy face....I was tired.
