Spring in WNY

Bridget and Jinx running on the deck. The dog's potty training is proving to be a challenge.
Sienna helps Bridget become a mouse.
 Hanging up the hammocks outside.
Bridget found some tadpoles and we are excited to watch frogs grow again.
I was impressed Jinx managed to jump up on our bed even though it isn't on the ground anymore.
I thought she looked way too cute in my hat, so I let her wear it for our walk.
Sean brings me home goodies. Propel and ginger snaps.

It's a really dark rainy day, so of course we are in the basement, the lightest part of this house when the sun isn't out.

A bed

Sean had a day off and used it to start building a platform for our bed. I love how it is looking so far.

The kids love watching daddy build. Especially Bridget right now. Back when Gabriel was her age and we were in Michigan he told me, "Daddy can build anything!"

This is Heaven

I woke up Saturday morning to a blanket of snow. There is something so peaceful walking through trees with inches of snow, and Friday Evening Gabriel and I did just that.
 I love our yard.
Bridget fits the dress I made for Sienna when I was pregnant with Bridget.
The beavers are hard at work. I am glad this discovery was made on the other side of the pond.
When we have church at home...we might allow a dress up dress.
And a hat Uncle Blair bought on his mission.

 Fighting pose

We did a belated easter activity of egg painting.
And sadly rediscovered none of the kids enjoy eating boiled eggs. I wish my stomach tolerated eggs. What a waste.

Sienna tooth #3

Sienna lost her 3rd tooth! It was just barely hanging in all yesterday but she didnt want it falling out to hurt so we let it take its time. At last a potato chip did it in. She'll be so excited that Sean found chocolate coins at the grocery store.

We used a giant cardboard box, and other random things we just had to build a cardboard house.
Bridget peeking from the window garden
 And the door window
Gabriel found my old camera, dutifully pluged the battery in to charge, and checked every few minutes for an hour until the light changed from yellow to green. We put the battery in and turned it on, only to discover the image was incredibly distorted and all it would bring up on that image was an error code of some sort. I felt so bad he was so excited. He was so good about it though and just pretended to take pictures. He took a lot of everyone.

Easter

We enjoyed celebrating the resurrection of our Savior and talking about him during this church at home time. Bridget said the opening prayer.

We celebrated with our traditional Saint Patrick's Day feast. We kept putting our St. Patrick's Day celebration because we were originally going to have guests, then reduced guests, then maybe when my parents come which ended up being an in and out kind of thing. We did think it was fitting though since St. Patrick was the one who taught the Irish people about Christ.
Getting more comfortable with the puppy.

We made her take her Sunday dress off to eat.

Jinxie!

Jinx can sit and stay now, and sits for his meals, water, and whenever I come in the room.

 Snuggles

She worked hard to get this specific face.....

Meet Jinx

Jinx is a 4 month old boston-terrier/poodle mix. His owner was moving and didn't think he would handle the move. Considering the 4 times he threw up on the way home, I am guessing he wouldnt have done well. We are working hard to help him remember where to pee and to help the kids learn how to treat a puppy. Sienna and Gabriel are in love...Bridget was initially very excited but after he jumped on her and chewed up her hair today she is a bit more cautious. This picture represents thier current levels of excitement.
 Driving home from rochester
 At home, after his bath
