Post operative x-ray to check coil placement
The first time I sat up post surgery was already less painful and the pain down the back of my legs to my knees was gone. Over the next few days my circle of pain got smaller and smaller. By day 3 the pain was out of my back completely. By the end of week one the pain was just two small circles on either side. By the end of week 2 it just felt like a giant external bruise and some small twinges if I moved certain ways. My stamina is very low, but I am able to sit and stand without pain. I started to freak out the end of the 3rd week when I once again experienced pain in my back, turns out it was cramps, so that should go away again soon. I am feeling very hopeful and grateful. I also have some feelings of sadness and betrayal for my doctor not doing an ultrasound when I was in excruciating pain for months and just ordering extra anti-depressants even though I assured him it was pain NOT depression. But he did find the problem eventually just.....2 years of my life *poof*
