Fancy Stockings

Sean heard about the stockings I made from left over material and insisted on a family trip to buy nice materials and accessories for a more permanent stocking set. It has been so fun working on them together.

Happy Thanksgiving

We have so much to be grateful for right now. My amazing husband, my creative energetic Sienna, my snuggly sweet Gabriel, my bright happy Bridget. We are all healthy. Our spacious warm living area. A fun local library and park. A future to look forward to with a house, a steady job, and more children when that time comes.We belong to The church of Jesus Christ and receive  His spirit and a blessed through His priesthood. I am grateful for my parents, my siblings, my grandparents, my nieces and nephews.

More House Hunting

Bridget and I saw two houses today. We got stuck in the mud on the way out of the first one. Had to wait for chains.

They're back

The bottom half of the unicorn costume I made her. I am hoping when the other two kids are both wearing theirs she will change her mind.

She had trouble sleeping without Sienna and Daddy being home. She had no problem once they got back.

 

Gabriel filled his pockets with coins and ran around enjoying the noise. I had to capture this pure joy in simple things.

Sienna did her first sewing machine project and made her kitty a stocking for Christmas.

Gabriel in his new puppy outfit. After it was originally sewed he said he would never wear it because it wasn't red, but Sienna changed his mind and I am so glad. He looks so great.

House hunting

Yesterday the house hunting officially began! We saw 3 houses, they each had their own problems and potential and I can't wait to look at more next week. Gabriel was not having it and I had to use a series of bribes to see all of them but we did it and got ice cream after.

 Bridget was excited and set out her clothes. She wanted to look at houses today too.

 Bridget ate the bottom first this time.

 Today we went to the library and they had this set up. Bridget called it the jumping place.

 Bridget made baby plane a house, she was sad when I picked up the house so I took a picture of the fence, seen below, before picking it up.

I don't have a picture but Gabriel also made me lots of food, and then he made me protection robots. "They come in all different levels," he said, "to protect you from different things." It was so fun listening to him describe what each one did, I had to be in the moment...no cameras. When we got home we made a days till Christmas chain, which Gabriel did half of on his own, I was super impressed. 

Trip

This morning at 2 am we drove to the Buffalo airport and dropped off Sean and Sienna. The other two kids were a little jealous of the trip so we thought of some fun things to do. We went to the library, McDonald's, a new park (because the McDonald's didn't have a playplace), and played on tablets. Tonight I asked the kids what other fun things we could do and Bridget said we needed Christmas stockings so we made some. Sienna's turned out looking the nicest because I made it last.

I have a sewing machine again. I finished Bridget''s costume but she wouldn't try it on. So here is Sienna as a cute green unicorn. 

 Gabriel got his hair cut and looks amazing.

 I took Bridget to the library because she wanted to go out. She fell asleep on the 3 minute drive and slept the whole time we were there.

Sean makes amazing food for me. Biscuits and Gravy.
