Gabriel's 3rd Birthday
Grandma and Grandpa got to be there to celebrate Gabriel's birthday. We went to the zoo and had a dog party and a donut cake. We love our wonderful little Gabriel and are so proud of all he is learning, and doing, and becoming.

Bridget Evangeline Nagle
Our newest family member. An excellent nurser with the most glorious red-tinted fuzz. We are already in love. Sienna played patty cake with her this morning and Gabriel loves pointing out that she is "out there!" and not in mommy's tummy any more. Her nights and days are definitely switched, but that will work itself out. She has two GIANT dimples and the cutest softest cries ever. Welcome baby Bridget.

Birth Story # 3
Bridget Evangeline Nagle
Day: November 1, 2016
Time: 7:15 pm
Weight: 6 lbs 8 oz
Length: 18 1/2 inches
Hours of Labor: 2 hrs consistent (15 hrs if you include the entire slow progression) Entirely un-medicated birth
Time in hospital: 6:00pm on November 1st till 2 pm November 3rd
After being sent to the hospital 2x for false labor and the financial and emotional implications of that, we agreed not to go in until we "knew" I was in labor. The problem with that? I was already dilated to a 3 before having contractions all day. They came every 2 hrs all night, 15 min all day, 3-11 min for 2 hrs, then 3-4 min for an hour....these were soo painful I had to be on my hands and knees and could hardly breathe between let alone during. At one point I was pantsless in front of our giant open front window because I needed my exercise ball and hurt too much to put on pants. Sean was in the middle of painting when I called my friend to come get the kids. He actually called back and told her to wait, luckily she came anyways. We finally left for the hospital and I asked for my epidural as soon as I was in the room. They checked me, I was at a 7-8 cm and said they didn't "think" I could have an epidural...but they also really didn't try. She was born an hour later. The dr. tried to hold her head in so I wouldn't rip but the pain was so intense I instinctively reached down and pulled his hand away twice. I got to pull her out and onto my stomach and luckily I got to hold her as they gave me 15 shots to numb the area, delivered the placenta, reached in to get the rest of it, stuck in a catheter(so he didn't stitch my urethra shut), stitched the outside, stitched my ripped clitoris (this hurt even with the 3 extra shots), took the catheter out and flipped the urethral opening to stitch inside. whew!
The only positive side was being able to shut the nurse up who argued with me about my pain level. She looked skeptical when I told her I was at an 8. She said, "A 10 is birthing a 10lb baby without an epidural" I looked at her and said "I didn't have an epidural and I ripped through my urethra and clitoris. I am at an 8." She shut her mouth right then and there, but she still waited an hour before giving me the heavenly stuff my doctor prescribed called dilaudid. Funny part is despite all the online stuff against it my induction was still easily the least painful labor...and so far recovery. And....my least grumpy baby so far. She isn't that grumpy though. She is an excellent nurser and her hair is possibly the softest coziest thing I have ever felt and she has these ridiculously large dimples in her cheeks, and she seems happy when she looks at me.

Gabriel is 2! Cuddle time.
I can't believe this sweet, cuddly, mischievous angel is turning 2 tomorrow. We love him so very much, and our life and family is so much better now that he is a part of it.
This was a lot harder with Gabriel since he couldn't really answer the questions very well, but here is his 2 year interview. We love you so much little guy, thank you for being a part of our family and being our little, "me too." He frequently says, "You stop it, mommy" adds "too" after everything, "juice too." "pop-cole too" "out too" He loves to sing all the time and have books read to him, and snuggle. He loves doing whatever Sienna is doing and loves the few days Sienna will let him sleep in the same bed as her.
